Emma McIntyre is from Auckland, currently based in Los Angeles, California.

Emma graduated with a BVA in Painting from Auckland University of Technology in 2011 and an MFA from the University of Auckland in 2016.

In California she is completing a Masters of Fine Arts specialising in Contemporary Painting at ArtCenter College of Design in Los Angeles, as the receipient of a Fulbright NZ Graduate Award.

Recent shows include ‘Pink Square Sways’ at Hopkinson Mossman, Auckland, ‘Rose on red’ at Hopkinson Mossman, Wellington and ‘Line Dancing’ at SPA_CE, Napier.
