Michael Dell is based in Whakatū Nelson, New Zealand. He studied Fine Arts at Canterbury University, graduating in 1994. Dell’s art practice combines his interests in representation and in abstraction, as dual modes of visual discourse on picture-making, within the fields of painting and drawing.

Michael will have his first solo exhibition with the gallery in October, 2026. In the meantime you can view works currently held in the stockroom.
